Cláudio Páduais a biologist with a PhD from the University of Florida. He is Vice President and Coordinator of the Amazon Bio-business Program at IPÊ – Institute for Ecological Research – where he played a pivotal role in the conservation of the black lion tamarin, an endemic species of the Atlantic Forest, one of Brazil’s key biomes.
He is also the Dean of the School of Environmental Conservation and Sustainability.
