Faisal Rehman is an independent environmental journalist and a former correspondent at The Environmental. He holds a BS in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi and an IMS in Digital Journalism from Deutsche Welle’s DW Akademie. His work has appeared in international outlets such as Mongabay and The Daily Star, as well as leading national publications including The News, The Friday Times, and Lok Sujag. Faisal is a 2023 Hostwriter Award-winning journalist. He reports on climate justice, environmental degradation, and the intersection of gender and climate change, with a strong focus on solutions-oriented storytelling.
